Thermotechnical applications

Cryogel line aerogel blankets are mainly used to thermal insulate LNG (liquefied natural gas) import/export pipelines and cold chains throughout the logistics starting from cold storage units to end up with cryogenic transport systems. Lightweight and flexible, it retains unaltered both its thermal insulating performance and mechanical properties even in extreme conditions of temperature and pressure.
Ducts and pipelines insulation requires fasteners and clamps suitable for the purpose and the operating temperatures, while the final coating remains the same used for Pyrogel. The very low thickness, once again, allows ease of installation, space savings and leads to consequent economic benefits.
